Art 1 students are just finishing up a watercolor "self" collage, where they answered a variety of questions about themselves. Each answer had the ability to turn into a picture. Pictures will be coming soon!
**Our next project will be mini canvas paintings. Students may choose landscapes, still lives, animals, or a person. No logos or words will be permitted.
For Art 2~
Students are just finishing a collage puzzle piece, similar to what Art 1 is doing. Only they are allowed to choose their media and pieces will be displayed in a puzzle format! Pictures coming soon!
**Coming up....Students will be creating a monochromatic painting using acrylic paint. Students may choose any subject matter they would like. They will only be allowed to pick ONE color, black, and white. By using black and white, they will create the different tints and hues of that one color they have chosen. Here a few examples of what they will be doing. Student work will be posted as well.
For Art 3~
Students are completing 3-D letters (their initials) out of poster board and plaster. They will be allowed to decorate them or design them any way they want. Pics of those will be posted as well!
**Coming up: Students will be designing a super hero/villain magazine cover. A criteria will be followed for the design. Here are the examples that will be provided for them to view.
